Overview

Sunset Ride

This is what West Maui is all about; the most gorgeous sunsets in the world! Check in time changes with the seasons (check with Reservation Agent for exact time)

NOTES

Guests must be between the ages of 8 – 70 years old
6 & 7 year olds allowed to ride if have previous experience
Weight requirement is 35 pounds – 250 pounds
Guests need to be ok walking on uneven ground and able to stand for 2 hours
Those who are pregnant or have existing injuries will not be able to participate

REMEMBER TO BRING

Long pants, closed-toed shoes and sun-protection (Hat, sunscreen, sun glasses).

HIGHLIGHTS

Ride along the foothills of the West Maui Mountains with extraordinary views of Molokai, Lanai and Lahaina Town and Harbor while watching a magnificent Maui sunset. Ride into Launiopoko Valley and dismount for refreshments at an authentic Hawaiian Hale (house) on a ridge with a cool mountain stream and large pond.

First horseback ride

Fantastic experience. First time on a horse and truly was life altering. Our guide Jordan was awesome. Very patient and informative. The horses are very well trained and tended to and easy to handle. The trail had spectacular views and was challenging keeping you very engaged in the ride. This is a total must, gives you views of the island you would normally never get to see. Highly recommended!!!!!!

Had a an awesome and fun time today at Lahaina stables, most fun horseback riding expierence I have had! Great guides, Sam and Jess, they were lots of fun and great to be around! Love the energy! The terrain we rode on was beautiful and learned a lot from the knowledge of the guides. I also loved the horse I rode on: Layla , she suited me well and had a great expierence riding her. Would recommend Lahaina stables to anyone to enjoys horseback riding or wants to try something new! You will not regret it! I hope to come back at some point in the future.
