We were lucky enough to be in Maui when the rice coral spawning took place. The aquarium was beautiful and by some miracle the staff was able to predict almost exactly when the coral would spawn. One of them went off during the event and they even had someone in the tank with a camera so we could see it on the projection screen. What I loved most about this aquarium was the natural and clean habitats and the insane amount of information about each animal. We learned so much! We also were able to attend the coral talk that evening and walked away with a deeper appreciation and understanding for reef protection and conservation. Thank you for an amazing experience for us and our boys. This was unforgettable!
