Last Monday the State of Hawaii allowed low-contact businesses like golf courses and automated car washes to reopen.

Next Monday, May 11, retail stores will be allowed to reopen, with mandatory masks for all employees and customers.

Here’s the report from KHON-2 TV Honolulu, and a report from the Lt. Governor.

When is Maui going to reopen to visitors? Maybe in a few months. If they test negative for Covid-19. Within 72 hours of their trip. (Rolling my eyes.)

Now if we’d only done that to Captain Cook and his crew, back in 1778… But that’s another story.
